If you’re a new BTO flat owner, congratulations! The next few months are going to be a whirlwind of planning, renovations, and endless Pinterest scrolling. One of the first things you’ll probably want is a copy of your floor plan — and not just the brochure version. You’ll need a proper floor plan to plan furniture layouts, get quotes from IDs, or even apply for permits during renovation.

Here’s how you can get your BTO floor plan in Singapore — and what types of formats are available.

HDB Website: PDF Floor Plans

The easiest way to access your BTO floor plan is through the HDB Flat Portal.

You’ll need to provide:

  • Your block and unit number
  • The town and street name

The floor plan you get from HDB will be in PDF format — a scaled drawing that shows the general layout and dimensions of the flat. This is usually good enough for basic planning and discussions with interior designers.

📥 Download HDB BTO Brochures, Floor Plans & CAD Files (2023–2025)

Looking for the latest HDB BTO floor plan PDFs and CAD files for your renovation or design planning? This page provides direct download links to the official HDB brochures and layout plans released for all BTO exercises since 2023.

These include high-resolution PDF plans, with CAD (DWG/RVT) options coming soon. Great for new homeowners, renovation contractors, and interior designers.

A full comprehensive list of the brochures in the latest BTO launches is available in our BTO launch table.

What If You Want a DWG or BIM File?

Most IDs work off the PDF floor plan and redraw the layout in AutoCAD or SketchUp. But if you're a homeowner who wants the original digital files — like DWG (AutoCAD) or RVT (Revit) — especially for renovation or smart home upgrades, you're not alone.

While HDB doesn’t release native CAD or BIM files, you have options:

  • Ask your designer to recreate the plan (most do this anyway)
  • Use scan-to-BIM services to digitize your actual unit
  • Use tools like Blender or SketchUp to trace over the PDF if you're hands-on

A CAD or 3D model is especially useful when trying to communicate your design intent to your interior designer. It is highly recommended to have one on hand to ensure the best results from your home renovation.

Bonus Tip: Why Your Flat Might Differ from the Brochure

Thanks to PPVC construction, many new BTO units have standardized designs — but slight differences can occur in wall thicknesses, beam locations, or even the placement of service risers. Always verify your actual flat before building carpentry to fit.
